In 1951 a television show called " I Love Lucy " was broadcast on live television. In the television studio, Lucille Ball was the first woman to have a major lead behind the scenes, and to be the first head woman of a Hollywood Studio. The "I Love Lucy" show broke important barriers like gender roles,depiction of pregnancy and having an interracial couple.
